M'hammed Kilito is a documentary photographer and National Geographic Explorer based in Rabat, Morocco, represented by VII Photo and Gowen Gallery. His work focuses on exploring cultural identity, labor sociology, and climate change, capturing the deep connections people have with their environments. Kilito holds degrees in Political Science from the University of Montreal and Ottawa University. His photography has earned him awards, such as the World Press Photo Foundation Prize and Louis Roederer Prize for Sustainability, and he has been featured in major international publications and prestigious exhibitions worldwide.
