Schroeder’s style has paid off. He has won many international awards including Nikon Japan, Nikon Belgium, TPOTY, Istanbul Photo, Days Japan, Trieste Photo, PX3, IPA, MIFA, BIFA, PDN, The Fence, Lens Culture, Siena, POYI and 3 World Press Photo awards (1st prize Sport Stories for the series Kid Jockeys in 2019, and two 1st prizes for the story Saving Orangutans in Nature Stories and Nature Singles in 2020).
