After 40 years in the UAE, he chose to live for 100 days among Bedouins—not as a filmmaker, but as an observer—allowing silence, routine, and trust to slowly reshape how he saw the world.

It traces how a story revealed itself through small, intimate moments, and how those moments carried a 3,000-year-old cultural thread into the present. Danish FarhanDanish is a self taught storyteller and cultural observer who has lived in the United Arab Emirates for 42 years. Working across film, books, and photography, he creates poetic portraits that honour subtle, unspoken truths found in everyday life. A college dropout who later received an honorary doctorate, he has been quoted by Time magazine and contributed to branding for the UAE Mission to Mars. His practice values patience, listening, and attentive observation.
