Julieanne will share her favorite tips and shortcuts for working with Collections and Smart Collections to help you find and create groups of photographs quickly and confidently.

Workshop Description

In this workshop, Julieanne will explore the power of Collections in Lightroom Classic and how they can streamline your photo organization and workflow. You’ll learn how to create, manage, and organize Collections to group images by projects, themes, or editing stages. We’ll also cover the difference between regular Collections, Smart Collections, and Quick Collections, as well as discuss tips for quickly accessing and assigning your images using a Target Collection. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a deeper understanding of how to keep your library organized and more efficient for both simple and complex photo workflows.

 

Module 1

  • Creating different types of Collections
  • Learn when and why to use the three different types of Collections in Lightroom Classic.

Module 2

  • Adding photos to Collections
  • Discover key features to add images to collections, including keyboard shortcuts and the Painter tool.

Module 3

    • Making Smart Collections Brilliant
    • Increase your productivity by using a variety of metadata and settings to find photos using Smart Collections automatically.
