After studying Nordic Literature and graduating from Prague’s FAMU Academy, Solkær has spent three decades capturing influential figures in music, film, and the arts. His recent work, the Black Sun project, shifts focus to starling murmurations across Europe, blending calligraphic and scientific influences to depict the starlings' dramatic aerial displays and collective movement.
