Madaniya – Screener Preview

Madaniya is a documentary that follows three young Sudanese activists, Django, Esra and Mou’men, as they take part in the popular uprising against decades of authoritarian rule. The film captures their hopes, fears and daily struggles within a movement that seeks freedom, peace and justice. Moving between protest streets, community organising and moments of grief and resilience, the film offers an intimate view of how ordinary citizens risk everything in pursuit of a civilian state.

The film is by Mohamed Subahi, whose work documents Sudan’s revolution and the voices at its heart.
