Finding the Balance: Humanitarian Aid and the Serenity of Nature

Finding the Balance: Humanitarian Aid and the Serenity of Nature

Nitin Madhav’s daily work places him on the front lines of human conflict, exposing him to some of the darkest facets of human nature. Yet, through his lens, he has found a way to create levity in tense situations—an approach that hones his ability to capture the serenity of the natural world.

In an intimate conversation with Lars Boering, Nitin will share how he balances these contrasting aspects of his life. He will explore how photography serves as a refuge and a tool for peace, enabling him to support conservation organizations and advocate for preserving the world’s fragile ecosystems.

This session offers a unique glimpse into the journey of a photographer whose work bridges two worlds—one of turmoil and one of tranquillity—revealing the profound impact of visual storytelling on both personal and global levels.
