In this beginner course, I will unravel the basic science and nature of photography, introducing essential concepts such as aperture, shutter speeds, ISO, metering, and depth of field (DOF). I’ll walk you through the most helpful camera buttons and settings, ensuring you understand their practical use.
Through hands-on practical exercises, you’ll learn how to control and combine all the different camera functions creatively.
By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills to use your camera in fully manual mode, navigate focus points effectively, and infuse more creativity into your photography!

– How does aperture affect your images, what are the impacts of various shutter speeds, and how does ISO influence the quality of your photos?

Low light photography.
– How to use ISO to cope in difficult low-light situations.
Module 6
The magic of the shutter speed.
– How to capture moving subjects without blur – from children at play to sports, action shots and wildlife.
Module 7
Aperture and the DOF.
– Learn which aperture is best for portraits with a blurred background and which aperture you should use to achieve a detailed landscape.

Tips on composition.
