This session will equip you with the knowledge and inspiration for our practical exercises.
Module 2
Hands-On Practice
Next, we’ll step outside to put theory into practice! You’ll be able to experiment with different night photography techniques in real-world settings. This hands-on experience will help you apply the skills learnt in the first module, allowing you to capture unique and creative night images.
What Should Students Bring?
Please bring a camera that allows manual adjustment of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO settings. Suitable types include DSLRs, mirrorless systems, or bridge cameras.
While many techniques in this workshop can be attempted hand-held, it is ideal to bring a tripod or a monopod for the best results, especially for longer exposures and more stable shots.
