About David Gibbon:
David Gibbon is a UK-based wildlife photographer and the director of Wild Lens Nature Tours Ltd. Renowned for his expertise in Arctic photography, he has ventured twice to Ellesmere Island, braving temperatures as low as -50°C to capture the raw beauty of one of Earth’s most unforgiving landscapes. This year, his solo exhibition at Xposure showcased his extraordinary Arctic Fox images, which have become synonymous with his work. With decades of experience and a passion for nature, David’s photography documents wildlife and tells compelling stories that connect audiences with the natural world.

David Gibbon
David Gibbon lives in the United Kingdom and specialises in photographing in the arctic and polar regions. He has been to Ellesmere Island, closest land mass to the north pole, on two winter expeditions where he stood with a howling Arctic Wolf and he has been running winter Arctic Fox workshops in the far north of Iceland since 2018. David was awarded in Nature Photographer of the Year 2020 for an Iceland Arctic Fox image and awarded again in 2023 for a Musk Ox image he captured on Ellesmere Island.
