Visual flow – from concept to final image -1
The workshop “Visual Flow – From Idea to Final Image – 1” is the first in a three-part series, designed to take you from the stage of “I’ll just take any shot I like” to the stage of “I know exactly what I want to do before I arrive on location.” In this first part, we will focus on establishing the idea and building the visual flow that makes the image flow smoothly to the viewer’s eye from the first glance.
We will work on the two most important skills before shooting: drawing the visual imagination in the photographer’s mind and how to plan the image before raising the camera. You will learn how to determine the composition that serves the idea, read the lighting direction in the scene, and build transitional areas (depth, fog, lighting gradient, color gradient) to turn the scene into an image with presence and story.
The workshop is suitable for beginner, intermediate, and professional photographers who want a clear approach instead of randomness, and is very useful for advanced photographers who want to refine their style and go back to basics in a professional way. You don’t need to be an expert in settings… you need to be ready to understand the scene with a different eye and start building your image as an idea before it becomes a RAW file.
The workshop lasts two hours and consists of a focused and direct session, full of examples and mental exercises that help you make faster and smarter decisions when shooting. This first part is the foundation on which the second and third parts rely to arrive at the final image with confidence and clarity.
