Anastasia Taylor-Lind's Insightful Documentary Work
Exhibition Tour: 5K from the Frontline

Exhibition Tour: 5K from the Frontline

Anastasia Taylor-Lind leads visitors through her documentation of civilian life unfolding just kilometres from active fighting in Ukraine. The exhibition focuses on the spaces between safety and danger, where families continue daily routines while conflict remains constantly present. The work reveals how proximity to violence shapes behaviour, relationships, and psychological endurance.

As the sequence progresses, the tour explores how long term presence allows quieter moments to surface alongside tension. Attention is given to ethical decision making, trust, and the responsibility of photographing people who are living under sustained threat rather than passing through moments of spectacle.
