Stolen Lives

Stolen Lives investigates the human cost of trafficking and exploitation through the stories of women and girls whose lives have been violently disrupted. Following survivors as they reclaim voice and agency, the film exposes the systems that enable abuse while foregrounding resilience and resistance. Rather than sensationalising trauma, it centres dignity, survival, and the long process of rebuilding identity after loss, revealing how justice, when it comes at all, is fragile and incomplete.

The film is by Smita Sharma, whose documentary work focuses on human rights, gender, and social accountability.
