Receiving Exposure in the Art World: Key Strategies
Receiving Exposure in the Art World

Receiving Exposure in the Art World

Turn your vision into visibility with the tools to thrive in today’s art world.

Introduction:

Ideally, art should not be competitive. However, the art world uses a de-facto filtering mechanism to single the best from the rest. Therefore, it is important to identify your strengths and effective approaches. These can improve your chances for a rewarding career. In today’s art world, successful artists are entrepreneurs. They follow the “market’s logic” and can manage both creative and business sides of their practices. But how can you get to that stage where you can share your talent with a wider audience?

Description:

In this workshop, students will understand the key ingredients that can lead to a successful career in the world of photography and the arts. Using case studies and applying professional methods and tools, participants will identify their position in the complex global art market. They will also define and design their desired career path, start building a supportive network in the industry, and work toward a long-term and sustainable development of their artistic career.
