Ocean Soul

Ocean Soul is a love story. It is a story of discovery. It is a story of hope.

Brian Skerry has been exploring Earth’s oceans for more than four decades, having worked on every continent and in nearly every underwater ecosystem. In Ocean Soul, Brian weaves together the visual stories he has created as an award-winning photojournalist and film producer, resulting in a gripping portrait of the ocean as a place of beauty and mystery, a place in trouble, and, ultimately, a place of hope that will rebound with the proper attention and care.

The presentation will highlight visual stories focused on a range of issues including endangered species, extreme climate and issues such as industrialized over-fishing.
