—————

The best moment is captured after spending time, becoming part of the landscape that makes you invisible as a photographer; respect and trust are the keys.

We don’t just pass by and capture pictures; we invest, get to know the people that we photograph, and work on gaining their trust so that we can show a window into their daily lives, keeping in mind that it’s not a sprint; it’s a marathon.

Photography is about immortalizing moments in time, for today, tomorrow and after, the visible and the invisible. Moments that we pass by, and pass us by, full of life and emotions. A picture is an instant that makes us curious to dive within, provoking our emotions and leading us to ask questions about you, the photographer and the people in your photograph.

There is no better way to tell a story than being a part of it, taking a deeper look at your immediate surroundings, and making the invisible visible. It is all about trust between strangers, you, and the people that you photograph. This trust is built on your behaviour as a professional storyteller. Credibility and integrity are the keys.

With this workshop, Muhammed will take you on a journey of ethics in photography, the ups and downs you might face in that environment and how to approach people without invading their privacy.
