The Australian Photography Video Channel features a series of interviews, commentary and insights into the contemporary practices of Australian photographers & artists. The channel is a collaboration between RMIT University’s School of Art and the Museum of Australian Photography. Each interview provides a compelling perspective on Australian photography and how photographers respond to social issues and tell stories of the land.

This presentation is by the channel’s producer, who has developed the channel over several years, and interviewed each of the photographers featured. Shane will provide an overview of the channel, screen short sections of interviews, and provide insights and commentary on how Australian photographers are telling stories and helping to shape our knowledge and understanding of contemporary social narratives about Australia.
